We are a full-service provider of information management solutions – business management software, computer and networking hardware, Point-of-Sale solutions and custom software development. Our normal trade area covers Middle Tennessee and extends into parts of Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama.
Application Support Specialist
Micro Tech, Inc. is in search of a full time Microsoft Dynamics GP Implementation & Support Specialist. This position requires relocation to the metro Nashville area.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
- Enjoys diversity, and excels at problem solving and troubleshooting
- Enjoys working with a team on diverse projects with diverse clients
- Enjoys and is skilled at working with computers and various software applications (business & non-business, SQL database experience is a plus)
- Is well-spoken and is comfortable working directly with and speaking toclients
- Has 3+ years experience with Microsoft Great Plains / Dynamics GP and a good accounting background
- Has experience in support roles and helping others work through technical problems.
Work environment:
- Our work is performed from our office in a remote support scenario, or onsite with the client.
- Most work can be accomplished in a normal work week; however extended hours are dictated by the needs of the client.
- Compensation for this position is competitive and will be a combination of salary and production incentives.
- The chosen candidate will work with other Applications Support Specialists,and will be under the direction of the Applications Manager.

.Net Programmer
Micro Tech, Inc. is in search of a talented individual to join our development team as a .NET Programmer. This position requires location in the metro Nashville area.
The successful candidate should have the following abilities and attributes:
- Computer Information Systems degree or related experience
- 2+ years C#, ASP.NET programming experience; Graduating college seniors welcome, with instructor’s letter of recommendation
- Relational database development experience preferred
- Ability to work under a Lead Developer
- Self-starting work ethic
- Must have reliable transportation, hi-speed internet, and good quality laptop computer
Your work environment:
- You will most often work from home.
- Daily phone calls & code reviews; Weekly meetings at Micro Tech offices
- This is a subcontract $20/hour position.
- You will work under the direction of a Lead Developer.
- Our office is in Cool Springs, office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
